“La GOULUE” transformed the career of LAUTREC, this first poster made its name known to the general public.ZILDER, the director of the MOULIN ROUGE, commissioned this painting in 1891 to launch the season.
This famous “GOULUE” is the center of the painting and the diagonal lines give all the depth to the scene.
